Your HRS 8830 may already have the latest software installed. You can check the software version in Menu/Tools/System Information. You don't need to install this update if software version D_0.32 is already installed. 2) Installation -------------------------------------------- Please follow the instructions carefully to avoid damage to your device! Please contact your local XORO service partner if you have any questions. a) Copy the software file "dts3470.udl" to a USB stick. The USB stick must be formatted with FAT or FAT32. The installation will fail if a different file system is used. b) Power on the receiver and connect the USB stick. c) Press the MENU button on the remote control. d) Navigate to the Menu/Tools/SW Upgrade/USB Upgrade. You will need to enter the PIN you set during the initial installation to continue. e) Press OK and select the file "dts3470.udl". f) Press OK to start the software update. -> The receiver will restart and display a progress bar on the TV screen. Do not switch off the receiver. Do not disconnect the power supply. Do not press any buttons.
